We all wear masks to protect our fragile selfs
If we could pull the curtains we would discover salty tears behind those fake smiles
Polite words to hide the truth we don’t dare to tell
And poker faces to contain the anxious screams that are willing to escape us
What is also saddly well hidden is… Love
It seems we are too afraid to lay this power on the hands of someone
And this is exactly why using masks makes us fail
You see love wasn’t made to be storaged
It was made to freely overflow and enrich others souls
Now there is one thing though that cannot be hidden: JOY!
Joy is too powerful and strong
It’s contagious and reinvigorating
It resonates our whole body
Until the masks drops
Shall we please remove our masks?
